Humanity in Action Announces 2018 Professional Fellowships

We are thrilled to announce this year's slate of four Professional Fellowships offered exclusively to Humanity in Action Senior Fellows.

The Fellowships give Senior Fellows the opportunity to work with frontline organizations across the United States on some of the most important issues of 2018 –– voting rights, racial justice, technology, civil liberties, healthcare, affordable housing, LGBT rights and transatlantic relations.

The Fellowships include:

• ACLU of Georgia Fellowship in Atlanta on Voting Rights and Racial Justice
• ACLU of Ohio Fellowship in Cleveland/Columbus on Policy Research and Advocacy
• Bailey-Boushay House Fellowship in Seattle on Healthcare and Homelessness
• Bertelsmann Foundation Fellowship in Washington DC on Transatlantic Relations and Research

The Professional Fellowships are paid opportunities. Senior Fellows will be compensated with stipends that cover living expenses and accommodations. Airfare costs are not covered.

Senior Fellows may apply for multiple opportunities using a single application form. To apply, submit your resume and a brief statement of motivation here. The Professional Fellowships can be tailored to the experience of the recipient, so we encourage Senior Fellows at all career stages to apply. Senior Fellows who have completed their Action Projects are eligible to apply. 

 

                  

 

The deadline for applications is April 27, 2018. Applications received after the 27th will be reviewed if positions remain unfilled.

 

Humanity in Action will sponsor visas for Senior Fellows without U.S. work authorization for the opportunity with the ACLU of Ohio and the Bailey-Boushay House. We encourage Senior Fellows requiring visas to apply early.
